Le sette opere di Zevola, tra i tapis roulant e le scale mobili, assemblano e contaminano le icone e gli oggetti più eterogenei. Il gusto per lo spettacolo gioiosamente kitsch si mescola con il gioco sottile delle citazioni e dei rimandi colti, come quello al celebre dipinto di Caspar David Friedrich Viandante sul mare di nebbia.
These seven works by Zevola, displayed between the moving walkways and escalators, bring together an assortment of the most incongruous icons and objects. The joyously kitsch spectacle is combined with the subtle use of quotations and cross-references, such as those to the famous painting by Caspar David Friedrich, Wanderer above the sea of fog.
